Gun Media's Breach & Clear is a turn-based Android strategy game that immerses players right into the action. The goal of the game is to take out terrorists by breaching buildings to clear them of enemies. Each team is comprised of four commandos, based on real-world Special Operations individuals. Six classes are available for the soldiers, and each individual fulfills a special role in combat. Your troops open fire automatically once a clear shot is available, which makes the game all about where and how you move.
In Breach & Clear, you choose where each unit member will go, and then watch the action play out onscreen. Every mission starts with a bird's eye view of the targeted building, letting you see the situation before you activate your troops. You can tilt, zoom, and rotate with a pinch or swipe controls. As you move through each level, the gameplay increases in difficulty, and each of the 20 missions includes multiple difficulty levels. The Enemy positions reset with every mission you complete, which keeps the gameplay exciting.
The intellectual appeal of Breach & Clear lets you have plenty of flexibility with your orders. You may order your team member to use his special abilities, deploy his equipment, or move at half-speed. After about five seconds of realtime action, your team will freeze, and it will be up to you to choose their next move. Breach & Clear's armory features over 30 weapons which can be customized into thousands of possible configurations. The sharp images of the game make it easy to see which weapon is in use, and this adds to the immersive nature of the gameplay. For those who are tired of the typical shooter games, Breach & Clear offers a great alternative with a robust exciting Android strategy game.
