Tiny Guardians is an Android strategy game from the Malaysian game studio Kurechii. Released earlier this year, Tiny Guardians lets you play a tower defense game without the actual towers. The story features Lunalie's search for her missing aunt, the Sorceress. Lunalie is a summoner and she embarks on a long trek to the Prism to locate the Sorceress, however, the only weapons in her arsenal are her Ruemas cards. The cards enable her to summon heroes to help her in her quest.
Tiny Guardians features over 40 enemy types, which keeps the gameplay exciting, and the creators promise no enemy is ever the same. Enemies Lunalie will encounter include wolves, cowboys, fairies, circus creatures, and much more, as she travels through the Caspid Plains, the Fractured Forest, and the remains of Helix. The strategy element of Tiny Guardians requires that you play through the game to unlock all of Lunalie's needed heroes. You will begin the game by deciding which three of the heroes you want take with you, as each hero offers something different as far as weaponry and skill. The guardians come in four types, Warrior, Range, Stealth and Magic. Each type has its own use in the game, and it's up to you to decide how you'll use the characters most effectively. Each level features a Story or Challenge mode, and also offers three difficulty levels to keep the gaming experience matched to your needs.
Tiny Guardians is a charming new take on the traditional tower defense game, and removes the building aspect that's often associated with the genre. It's perfect for gamers who don't like complicated battle scenes, and the game features beautiful scenery that makes Lunalie's voyage enjoyable, so it should appeal to even the casual gamer. A whimsical soundtrack filled with some epic tunes add to this enchanting gaming experience.
